FlexLab^TM X – Post-analytical Modules

After analysis, samples are conditioned for archiving and retrieval.

To automate all post-analytical steps, FlexLab™ X features the following modules:

Recapper Module (RCX)

The Recapper Module automates the process of recapping secondary tubes after they are produced by the Aliquoter Module. Thanks to this automatic recapping process, you can preserve the physical and chemical properties of samples while reducing dangerous and dirty tasks for the operators.

Sealer Module (SMX)

The Sealer Module X enables the automatic sealing of plastic sample tubes after analytical processing to preserve their physical and chemical properties for potential re-runs or re-usage. Automatic sealing saves operators’ time and reduces hazardous tasks, allowing them to focus on value-added activities.

Storage Module (SRMX)

The SRMX stores up to 12,672 tubes in a temperature-controlled environment (2° to 20°C) and offers short-term parking for 600 tubes at room temperature. With optimized rack management and a throughput of up to 1,500 tubes/hour, any single tube can be retrieved in 30 seconds.
