ProTube™ efficacy is now clinically proven

The automated ProTube™ device supports quality assurance in the phlebotomy process

Lugano, 29 December 2015. “Pre-analytical phase: The automated ProTube™ device supports quality assurance in the phlebotomy process” is the recently published study conducted by Elisa Piva, Francesca Tosato and Mario Plebani of the Department of Laboratory Medicine, University-Hospital, Padova that marks the clinical demonstration of the ProTube efficacy.

The study witnesses the 44% reduction of the mean time for blood collection using ProTube™ against the former centralized device, the correct labelling of the tubes in 100% of cases and a significant increase in traceability, process quality and regulatory compliance.
